- Synapses Child Neurology and Development Centre (Thane) – We conducted an orientation workshop which was open to all individuals who were interested in learning about animal assisted therapy. This certificate workshop orients people interested in this field and give an overall perspective of the field. This is also a good entry level workshop for those who want to learn as well as volunteer.
- Disha Counselling Centre (Pune) – We conducted three orientation workshop which were open to all individuals who were interested in learning about animal assisted therapy
- Maniben M.P Shah Women’s college of Arts and Commerce (SNDT-Mumbai) – On World Mental Health Day Our therapy dog Joey along with our director Mr. Aakash Lonkar and our therapist Malvika, visited the college. The children were briefly oriented with the basics of animal assisted therapy. They were then allowed to interact with Joey and did small activities. The program ended with an interactive discussion of what was observed and the inferences made.
- SNDT Women’s University (Pune) – Our therapist Aditi, gave an insightful talk on how animals work as co-therapists, to the post-graduation of Clinical Psychology, at SNDT University.
- JCBN International School (Mumbai) – On World Mental Health day, our therapy dog Bolt along with handler Kamna and therapist Malvika visited JCBN school and helped provide a brief demonstration on the role of animals in Mental Health. The children participated in activities and made sure all their doubts were clarified
- St. Xaviers’ College, Autonomous (Mumbai) – We conducted two workshops at the prestigious Xavier’s college, for the psychology graduate students, on Animal Assisted Interventions. Our therapists Aditi and Malvika conducted the workshop for over 60 students. Our therapy dogs Joey and Obleix interacted with the students and demonstrated the required skills of a therapist and therapy dog. The student worked on different interactive experiments with the dog during the workshop
